How scoring works

Every game is worth up to 100 points a day.

Rankings use a score: your average points per game, pulled towards 50 when you’ve played only a few games (it counts as if you’d also played 5 games of 50). One lucky 100 scores about 58; 30 games averaging 90 score about 84.To be ranked you need 15 games this week, 40 this season or 60 all-time. Weekly 🏆 and season 🥇 winners need the same minimums.Today ranks everyone by their average for today, once they’ve played at least 3 games (4 if they include all of Worldle, Flagle and Costcodle). Daily wins 👑 and Patrick 🤡 use the same rule. ★ marks the best result in the group for each game. “off” means that person has switched the game off.This week, Season and All-time use the same average over the last 7 days, this month, or since the group started.Season is a fresh leaderboard each month, starting on the 1st. 🥇 marks last month’s winner.⚡ alerts tell you when a friend beats one of your scores today. You’ll see a pop-up and a red count on the Group tab.🏆 is last week’s champion: the best average from Monday to Sunday, with at least two people playing. It stays on their name all this week.👑 marks today’s leader. A day is won by the best average that day, when at least two people played, and those wins show in the rankings. 🔥 is a streak: days in a row with at least one game logged.Head-to-head counts a win for each game you both played on the same day, using the points above.
